YOUR FIRST HOME
Fish by the pond, work the forge, and meet the people who keep Hearthwood alive. Elder Rowan has a favor to ask—and an old secret to share.
SEVEN TOWNS. ONE REACH.
Follow the roads to banks, shops, training and stories across the current world.
PROGRESS THAT FEELS LIKE YOURS
A quiet afternoon at the fishing pond counts, too. Build your character through 20 skills, with new equipment and activities along the way.
Cast a line, fell a tree, or uncover the next vein of ore. Plant allotments, herbs and fruit trees, and turn the day’s haul into tomorrow’s supplies.
Browse all 20 skill guides. Reach level 99 with 10,000,000 XP per skill. Achievements reward XP lamps for the related skill.
Tutorial Island has been removed. New characters begin directly in Hearthwood with their starter equipment and gathering tools. Existing unfinished island characters are brought to Hearthwood with their earned XP and usable supplies preserved. Island lessons, NPCs, monsters, artwork and website listings are removed. Old island links lead back to the main game. Existing mainland characters, accounts and saves are preserved.
NEW CHARACTERSSmelting one Stormsilver ingot now requires 2 Stormsilver (Frostshard) ore and 1 Dewstone instead of a Cindersteel ingot. The Smithing level, XP and one-ingot output are unchanged. Game recipe displays and website skill guides use the same updated ore costs.
SMITHINGFixed World 1 reconnect loops in the Sunspire underground mine and Mining Guild by mapping their internal room names correctly. Registered interiors and dungeon layers keep their own nearby-player rooms. Temporary connection failures or a hidden game window now preserve your last server-confirmed staff nameplate; staff-role changes and disconnects still take effect. Existing characters, saves, equipment, combat and loot are unchanged. Your supplied level-up sound now follows level increases across all skills and activities, including crafting, quest XP, buildings, outdoor training and dungeons. Loading a character and replaying unchanged updates stay silent. Smelting costs per ingot: Cindersteel — 1 Cindersteel ore; Duskglass — 2 Duskglass ore + 1 Dewstone; Dawncrystal — 2 Dawncrystal ore + 2 Dewstone; Riftbound — 3 Riftbound ore + 1 Riveriron ore; Starwoven — 3 Starwoven ore + 2 Riveriron ore; Crownfire — 3 Crownfire ore + 3 Riveriron ore. Smithing levels, XP and outputs are unchanged.
WORLD CONNECTIONEquipment now uses a body-shaped slot layout with the existing item artwork. Select the helmet-and-shield Equipment stats button to open a larger window with your equipped character, gear accuracy, power and defence, max hit, hit chance, attack range, ammunition and weapon speed. Bonuses use DragonReach’s actual combat calculations and refresh when gear changes. Melee training, travel pendants, the gear guide and Magic Spellbook remain available.
